We understand that every real estate transaction is slightly different and so have made sure our fees reflect total fairness from the start.
If you've been asking “What are the legal fees for buying a house in New Zealand” or, "How much does a property lawyer cost?"- we have your answers. On this page, we've outlined all the legal fees for selling property. We know a lot of property lawyers like to advertise "exclusive of GST and disbursements", but to make sure you are fully informed below we've included both our ex-GST price and our all-inclusive figures.

Buying Property
From $1,799 (includes GST & disbursements)
Our fee for buying covers every aspect of a purchase transaction (with no mortgage, unit title requirements or KiwiSaver being used). We save you money by streamlining the process and removing unnecessary meetings - quality is never compromised with our property lawyers.
Compare apples with apples. A property lawyer will quote you "before GST & disbursements" HOWEVER we don't want there to be any surprises for you, so make sure our pricing includes both GST and disbursements. Simple.
And remember - the property conveyancing fees are taken from your final settlement sum - so that means no credit cards or prepayments are needed.

Selling Property

Our fee for selling is one of the lowest you'll find in the country. It covers the sale transaction after the drafting and signing of an Agreement for Sale and Purchase.
No meetings are required with our lawyers, and they'll communicate with you via whatever means you prefer. While other lawyers will provide you an estimate that excludes GST and disbursements - we keep things transparent and include those costs in our pricing.
And remember - the conveyancing fees are taken from your final settlement sum - so that means no credit cards or prepayments are needed.

Like our buying and selling pricing, we've given you two numbers here for a simple, residential refinancing. The price above, includes GST and disbursements - so when comparing pricing, just make sure you ask for those figures from other providers (we like to keep things transparent).
